No matter what, the party never stops here in McChuills so of course, that’s going to continue all night long as we have those professional party monsters from Let’s Go Back incoming with their Sunday Soundclash Rave.

As ever, the lads will be cranking out a soundtrack of anything and everything, from old-school hip hop, rave and house, through dub, breaks and more, right up to the very latest in cutting-edge floorfillers, as well as anything else, from any genre, that takes their fancy. All in a pub full of club-level lighting, strobes, smoke and a hefty dose of atmosphere. Oh and lasers. Yes, frickin’ LASERS. In a pub. On a Sunday. Because we are McChuills.

This week, their special guests are thee most excellent UGh Vee and Patrick Cichy.

UGh Vee is a 19-year-old DJ, artist and skater hailing from Glasgow’s Southside, bringing an eclectic, genre-bending sound to the city’s underground scene. Her sets can pull from hip-hop, techno, alternative rock, alternative hip-hop, electronica, disco, pop, nu-metal and ghettotech, weaving completely different influences together into something uniquely her own.

Originally hailing from Chicago, Patrick Cichy was based near Half Moon Bay, CA, on Hwy 1 before settling in Glasgow ages ago. After starting Country Funk Fridays eight years ago, his Halfmoonbayou sets are now a vinyl mix of global funk & psych, hip hop edits & samples, 70s Balearic, Brazilian MPB, reggae & dub, country funk, deep yacht rock, new wave, classic rock, punk and leftfield disco.

So if yr not here already, get yrself down and come have a dance in the rave cave with us. What are Sundays for if not ripping the arse out the weekend?

✊🏻🏴‍☠️💚

Let’s Go Back’s Sunday Soundclash Rave is happening in McChuills tonight, Sunday September 13th from 7pm-close. Entry is free!
