hi, my name is maegan paige.. 🕷️

if you told little ole me in 2016, that in ten years, i’d be here in 2026 starting a band? i’d spiral out of control with doubt but, we’re here now! @turnthepaigeband

over the years, i have always revisited this video with @royceda59 from my first concert ever at @uhalldc

“i gotta good feeling about maegan”
it was truly the spark that kickstarted the fire.

today, i stand free from the tangled webs that once controlled me. i walk forward grateful to continue the story.

that being said.. let Turn The Paige be a reminder: pick up the notebook, a pen or pencil, and never put it down. everyday is a new opportunity to write and start again.

with love,
maegan paige 📖

THIS FRIDAY IN DC! A once in a lifetime chance to partake in the greatest game of all time before the greatest rave of all time. Very limited spots remaining, first-come first-serve ⏰

Because @djpressed keeps moaning about “credit card debt” and “alimony”, tickets to SUNNY RAVE itself are not complimentary, unless he promises to put you on the guest list (he will 100% forget).

Irregardlessly, we implore you to buy as many tickets as you can while you can as you cannot put a price tag on peaking 💫

🇺🇸 8/7 | WASHINGTON, DC (this Friday!)
🔔 9/18 | PHILADELPHIA, PA (the finale!)

Assuming no severe injuries, perhaps we should do another Chardee Macdennis before SUNNY RAVE: Philadelphia? Or another city? 🤔

A landmark win for fans and independent live entertainment in Washington, D.C.! 👏

Today, @NIVAssoc members are celebrating the @CouncilofDC’s unanimous final passage of the RESALE Act — nation-leading legislation that puts fans first and protects artists, venues, theaters, comedy clubs, and festivals from deceptive ticket resale practices.

The RESALE Act will:

🎟️ Cap resale prices at 10% above the ticket price
🎟️ Ban speculative ticket sales
🎟️ Require full ticket-price transparency
🎟️ Increase accountability for professional resellers
🎟️ Prohibit surveillance pricing
🎟️ Strengthen enforcement and consumer protections

NIVA and the #FixTheTix Coalition thank Councilmember @CMCharlesAllen for championing this legislation; Councilmembers @ChristinaHendersonDC and @BrookePintoDC for their important contributions; the entire DC Council for its unanimous support; and the many independent venues, theaters, advocates, artists, and fans who helped make this achievement possible.

Washington, D.C. is raising the bar for ticketing reform — and offering a blueprint for communities across the country.

Following the remaining steps in the District’s legislative process, the RESALE Act is set to take effect January 1, 2027.

Throw back to that time I found myself with a potato camera at a random underground dance battle on U Street.

This was roughly a 20 minute long match between the two. Sis gave him a run for his money, however he won on technical skills and stamina.

(He didn't fall on the ppl, just in case anyone was wondering!)

Ten years later, and this battle STILL lives in my head.

RIP U Street Music Hall! 💔
