Yesterday, we celebrated the Vin Baker Outdoor Athletics & Recreation Complex with a ribbon cutting. 🎀🏀🎾

Surrounded by alumni, donors, and friends, we honored one of the greatest Hawks of all time and the supporters who helped bring this space to life. We can't wait for you to come play tennis, pickleball, and basketball on the new courts opening soon! Stay tuned for updates. 📲

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. ❤️

✨ The Journey continues….

✨ I had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Vin Baker Outdoor Athletics & Recreation Complex today.

✨ Former University of Hartford Men’s Basketball Player and current Miami Heat Coach Vin Baker shared his journey with fellow alumni, student athletes, staff, family and friends. It was all too familiar and it resonated.

✨ We are both alumni and former college student athletes.
✨ We both have similar faith backgrounds.
✨ We both had moments of highs and lows.
✨ We both still roll with our day one’s & those who feel like it
✨ We both mentor youth and continue to do the work.

✨ It was great connecting with old friends @bella_bougie729 meeting new one’s @mr_xrc as well as engaging with students, student athletes, coaches and university administration, faculty and staff. Its always great seeing University of Hartford President @uhartpreslpw

L’Shir 26-27 💜💜

We would like to thank the office of alumni affairs for inviting us to perform at the UHart Alumni reunion dinner on Friday October 2nd!

We are SO proud of our L’Newbies and their hard work during their first few weeks! Clara, Lukas, and Artie have jumped right into the business of the group and we so thankful and happy to have them! 💜💜

We would also like to thank @thebushnell for having us perform at their Immersive Art Fest event on Sunday October 11th! Our members had a blast getting to walk through the exhibits and travel through outer space!

At this event we performed “Stronger Than Me” by Amy Winehouse, “Japanese Denim” by Daniel Ceaser, “Yellow” by Coldplay, and “In the Kitchen” by Reneé Rapp! 💟💟
