LORE 004 @youngteesh
THE CLUB ISSUE - Makeup and Interview by Ms.Myles

It was an honour Glaming and Interviewing Toronto’s very own @youngteesh for @club.lore ‘s 4th issue themed around THE CLUB in all of their iterations. This Magazine is by Toronto for the World. And I would like to thank @niko.fox for bringing me back after staring in last years cover issue to bring my energy, craft and my mind to a portal into Toronto’s story ⛓️‍💥

Personally, Teesh has remained a staple in my ability to flourish in Toronto nightlife, not only as a community member and attendee but as role model to me and many DJs. She’s touched soo many souls and has evolved the “Toronto Sound” as we know it. I’m grateful she joined this issues 3 cover story and I hope you all enjoyed hearing the Teesh edit as she shared her introspective and enlightening story with Global Readers of Lore - Ms.Myles

inside the launch of Lore 004: The Club Issue a few weeks ago. we’re all grateful to have had so many friends and community members out to celebrate with us. this issue took so many people’s work to make happen and we can’t say enough thank yous. 🤍

most of the folks we know know that our manufacturer made some errors with the prints (I.e. a lot of cover damage), and we’re still negotiating with them on the reprint. reprinted copies are coming soon, but the best way to get one is to order it via our Shopify, link in bio. (contributors: DM us and we’ll send you your discount code.)

they’ll be available globally shortly after that, and we can’t wait for you all to see where your work pops up in the months to come. in the meantime, we are resting and working on some grant applications to bring more Lore to life. 👀

Young Teesh took over a whole storefront in NYC last week. Toronto’s finest, going global. 🌎

Teesh’s cover shoot for Lore 004: The Club Issue explores nightlife as a portal away from everyday life, paired with an interview from fellow DJ Ms. Myles. Get a copy of her cover story at Varrick/Soho News International in NYC or directly via our bio.

Shoot by Jibril Yassin and Connie Oreamuno.
