Fun time volunteering in the Bahamas with these interesting people. 😜
As the program comes to an end, it is only now hitting me that it’s really over, working and living in Marsh Harbour was a big part of my life for these past two months. Which is why I called it home 🏠
The conditions were rough, hot, humid, barely minimal, and I kept injuring myself, but overall a very rewarding experience. I recommend it for anyone who wants to take a break from their normal lives and be a part of something bigger than oneself. Also you’ll see the world from another perspective 🌍 👀

Adios amigos 👋
I will try not to forget everyone...
Gone, but not forgotten 🤔 💭

Since the beginning of January I have been volunteering with All Hands and Hearts in the Bahamas. It has been an incredible and eyeopening experience. So much of the Island of Ábaco was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian in 2019. The island is slowly recovering, especially do to COVID slowing everything down. We are helping to rebuild one of the few schools here for students with special needs, Every Child Counts (ECC). It’s a truly special, family oriented school for its students and teachers. The students cannot wait to get back to their home, ECC. Please go to the link in my bio to help me reach my fundraising goal for this project. If you use my link, 100% of your donation goes to helping rebuild this amazing school. #allhandsandhearts #thebahamas #fundraiser #donate #donatetoday #everychildcountsabaco #everychildcounts
