Performed a Touhou Project song

The moment the melody started, the Touhou vibe was instantly there.

Pics or it didn't happen. Well I hardly had my phone out to document anything 🤣 so here is what ive gathered, plus Millie from Friday night and the fish sticker that im emotionally attached to now.

@uiuc_ui_con was so much fun!!! And I was so honored to come back and be a guest judge again 💞💞 I am so impressed with them and how much they have grown over the years. I see so much success in the future for this con and group.

I want to give a huge shout out to my besties who watched my booth and kept me company, yall are amazing 💞🙏 I couldnt have had a successful weekend with you two.

To everyone who stopped by, chatted with me, attended my panels, thank you for listening to me yap on and on and on and reminding me that I am still that crazy busy bee 🤣

To my co-guests and judges, it was so refreshing and fun chatting with you guys. Thank you for dealing with my randomness and emotional-support orange.

Lastly, to everyone who competed, MY GOD ALL OF YALL WERE AMAZING!! 😩😩 listening to you guys explain your work and the passion in your builds are truly inspirational. I look forward to seeing where you all go. I've tagged the winners in the one photo, but seriously go find all the competitors, chat with any about their builds because so much skill came out for this contest.

guys. words cannot describe how cool of an experience tabling at ui-con was. im SO humbled and grateful to have met so many amazing people and even sold out (!!!) at my first ever con-- y'all blew me away 😭💕

i struggled with *so much* imposter syndrome and doubt leading up to the con. then i walked into the artist alley for the first time and it was like my worries melted away and were replaced by excitement. as someone who doesn't study art & doesn't plan to pursue an art career, this whole experience was a dream come true. the ultimate bucket list item, if u will. to finally step into a world i admired from afar meant so so much to me. and seeing my work bring smiles to people's faces ??? AA truly worth a million gazillion dollars

highlights:
- meeting not One but TWO campus street artists?? you guys are amazing
- random interview with two costco-loving guys
- some high schoolers opening college acceptance letters 🎊
- my sister's homemade stickers SELLING OUT! thank you all for supporting her <3
- so many people saying "if the shoe fish!!!" as they walked past
- someone's story about their cat stealing a rotisserie chicken off their table (and pics of said criminal)

ty to noodlegel, my amazing table neighbor!! and shout-out to the other incredible artists that I got to talk/trade with, including kero, coat, potionenthusuast, aeri&meru, syzcow, ryind, kailee, christine, fawn, and waaayy more !! also tysm to my friends who came by to say hi :))

Ui-Con 2026! New location, same amazing experience🙌 Cody and May has yet again, made their appearance, but from a different chapter of the game. Also joining us was Tyler’s little sister for her first con ever! Unfortunately the only shot I got of her in her full costume was on the car ride over, but she looked adorable and got a lot of love for her mask🐶

And of course, I cannot be in the same building as the beautifully talented McKenzie Shane without snapping a few pictures🌟 She truly is such a positive addition to the cosplay community!

over the weekend i had the honor to judge @uiuc_ui_con cosplay contest! it was not only my first time attending Ui-con but my first time judging EVER! it was such a joy and honor to see these cosplays up close and see the love and detail put into each piece. congrats to our winners but also congrats to everyone who took the time out of their Saturday to come get prejudged or even just walk the stage to show off your cosplays! thank you again Ui-con! hoping to be back next year!

After 2 years, and 7 cosplay competitions I finally placed in my first competition. I don’t do this to win, I do it because I love the community and how it sparks joy in both myself and the people around me. I am always so supportive and proud of my fellow contestants, and this weekend I got to be the one supported and celebrated. I want to thank everyone who stopped and talked to me or just a pass by complement every interaction means the world to me.
Thank you everyone for making my first UI-Con so special! After going to so many large cons I often forget about the charm and community that comes from small cons. Everyone was so friendly and I’d so happily go back.
