My favorite week of the year has come and gone already :( I love ISYM sm and all of my friends. I’m so privileged to get to attend this amazing camp every year. Thank you to my director and instructors that helped me in pushing my music education further and bettered my understanding of the instruments i play and the music i take part in.

IMEC 2026 was a true testament to the humanity of music and its ability to inspire. I am immensely proud of these eight musicians who showed grit through 12.5 hour days, beauty through musical expression, and of course 💫🌟community✨⭐️

After stuffing our faces with puff pastries, playing lots of phone games, and being moved to tears on multiple occasions, we will remember this weekend that has shaped us into better musicians, teachers, and people. 💕

So so so so proud of you!!! 👏 👏👏👏

With the end of the semester, we sadly have to say goodbye to our fantastic student teacher, Mr. Ethan Groharing. We were so thankful for his time with the Maine South Band. On his last day we presented him with a hand written thank you note from each student. He is going to be a great addition to our profession and is excited to already have a couple jobs lined up for 2nd semester! Join us in thanking and congratulating Mr. Groharing!”
