A solid 8 for these PEROHY. Served with those goddamned cooked bacon bits again. And without sour cream or sautéed onions, which to me is criminal.

I would have sent the plate back to the kitchen for perohy sans bits, but I was sharing with another tourist so I just scrapped them off. Big mistake — bacon flavor was still there. Blech! I’ve never been served those bits on diaspora perohy.

The shape was nice and I liked the folded edges. But dough was thick and the potato filling had farmer’s cheese mixed in (which I don’t prefer).

So far in 🇵🇱, the perohy is a level down from any 🇺🇦festival 🥟🥟🥟 in USA.

Yesterday I took my yearly trip to DC to march in support of Ukraine. It is always inspiring to see so many people show up and stand for freedom. Three years since the full scale invasion, and Ukraine is still in an existential battle for its own existence and for democracy at large. Support Ukraine. Call your congressmen, tell them that we don’t negotiate with terrorist states. Do not allow our country to appease putin.

As you may have noticed, we made new merch to support our projects. 🧢
This time, these are fundraiser hats — originally beige, but customizable with acrylic paints according to the customer’s request.
This incredible work was done by Lena in the USA with support of her family and friends. As a result, Lena managed to collect $1.5k for the current car project. 💪🏼

There are only a dozen hats left. Get yours while you can! Write @ukie_hardcore

Thanks to all the buyers and supporters from the USA and Europe. 🖤
