This Sunday at @passevitelx I'm playing a set on metal percussion with @antoine.gilleron on trumpet and @uliaruduliarud on live visuals, as Cebola Roxa.

Cebola Roxa is an ongoing music+visual project in which @uliaruduliarud and I invite a different artist each time to collaborate on an improvised live performance, with an emphasis on the interplay between deep percussive sounds and hypnotically shifting images.

Opening the night is funcionário, the solo project of @pedrodouradotavares. It is focused primarily in day-to-day experiences and interactions, not as a continuous narrative but as a whole. The power of sound as a bridge between memory and the imagination that interprets it. In this collage of different styles and approaches the focus is on the profound endoesthesia that falls upon the astute listener: work and grieving as the essence that leads to all the other sensations. funcionário explores this to the intimate core of the contemporary working society of stopwatch shifts.

𝑀𝑒𝑒𝓉 Iguana Garcia & Johnny:

Iguana Garcia & Johnny bring something you won’t see twice.
A live act pairing Iguana Garcia, Lisbon’s electro lounge multi-instrumentalist, with saxophonist João Marques, known as Johnny, one of the key names in Portugal’s psychedelic-latin scene. Sequenced synthesizers, reverbed guitars, tenor and soprano saxophone, and lyrics that cut. Served as a voodoo and romantic cocktail.

On the 10th of September, they open the Bar floor at Lux Frágil with an exclusive live act made for this night.

Grab your ticket at DICE.FM. Come before 11pm and the entry is on us.

Venham!

Thursday, 23th of July, from 6pm at Lux Frágil (Bar Floor)

Born in Lisbon with Indian and African roots. Khalil Suleman came up through synthesizers and drum machines, drawn to the soulful and melodic side of things before it had a name.

His sets move through indie dance, house, techno, and rhythms that draw from across the globe, where tribal and ethnic textures feel like a natural part of who he is.

On the 23rd of July, he plays at the Bar floor at Lux Frágil for our Day & Night showcase.

The tickets for the Terrace are free. Grab your QR code at terraco.luxfragil.com (link in bio) and come from 6pm onwards.

Venham!
