****LONG POST ALERT!!!!***** My name is Monique Dupree-Thomas Also know as Tha Original Gata I am a married woman with 10 children and 4 step children A host of grandchildren and I am celebrating being 40. I've learned that I AM an acquired tatse. I'm stubborn, passionate and not afraid to speak up on things/issues I feel strongly about. I'm from NEWARK NJ and PROUD of it. I dont have to reside their to show my love and support for the place in which I was brought forth and raised. I am a WORKING actress, comicbook model, wrestling valet..most of all..I have a full time well paid job of being a mother!! There is NO greater or more rewarding job than that. I teach my children to be free and independent thinkers. I teach them to dig, research, ask questions and be the person THEY are. So I lead by example. I dress how I feel, I work hard, ask questions and make myself a part of change in MY own way. This, I owe to my grandma, great grandma and my aunt. The trio that raised me. I was taught NOT to be afraid of who amd what I am. I dress wild, color my hair..I walk down the street wearing cat ears and flurry leg warmers because I feel like it DAMMIT. What you say can only speak to your ignorance and not my confidence. This, is my birthday post to say, I pray I have 40 more years of this life right here that I am living amd loving. If I have more children, its a blessing, if I just get to see the ones I have continue to flourish, its a blessing. I love my life and I am SO very blessed for those who stand proudly beside me. Best birthday gift EVER. THA ORIGINAL GATA
