And with that, PREP Season comes to an end! For the last time this summer, we would like to give a special thank you to each and every individual that spent time at our booth, not just at this session, but at all four! You guys have got us absolutely hyped for formal rush this fall!
•
Eta Omicron would also like to give a huge shoutout to ULM’s 2026 Prep Staff! Not only our own active members on staff, but to all of you. We wouldn’t have been able to have this incredible experience without all the dedication and investment that our peers have put into this annual project. We couldn’t be more proud and appreciative. So, kudos!

End of an era… 🦅🖤 Four years ago I came to University of Louisiana Monroe as a mid-year transfer my sophomore year with big goals and a lot to prove to both myself and everyone around me. This season, I broke the school record, made finals at every meet, and got to go to regionals. I have accomplish so many goals that once felt, so far away when I first started this journey.

My last college meet didn’t end the way I pictured it, and that’s hard to accept when you care so much about something. But looking back, I realize there’s so much more to this journey.

ULM gave me the best four years I could’ve asked for. It gave me teammates who became family and people who supported me through every high and low. I’ve grown so much not only as an athlete, but as a person, and I’ll always be grateful for everyone who believed in me.

Thank you to my family for always supporting me no matter what. Also to Coach Baker for pushing me to become the athlete I knew I could be, and to my friends and teammates for being there through it all.

Closing this chapter is emotional, but I’m proud of everything I have accomplished and even more thankful for the people I got to share it with. Forever grateful for this journey.

But I’m not done yet. Even though my college career is coming to an end, this chapter of my life isn’t fully closed. I’ll still be training, throwing, and chasing bigger goals because I know there’s still so much more I want to accomplish in this sport. But thank you ULM for believing in me 🖤

Last conference meet ever… and I had to go out with a bang. 💥
Ended this chapter by breaking the school record — something I’ll carry with me forever.

So grateful to my coach for believing in me these last 4 years, pushing me through every high and low, and helping me fight through the mental blocks when things got tough. You never stopped believing, even when I doubted myself. I’ll always be grateful for your impact on my journey with track.

To my parents — thank you for being my biggest supporters, my backbone, and my constant motivation through it all. None of this would’ve been possible without your love and support.

What a way to close out my final conference meet. Forever grateful. ❤️

The End of an Era
-
After 8 years, I’m finally packing up the poles and giving my back a break for good. While I haven’t exactly accomplished what I wanted in vaulting, the relationships, memories, and everything in between are worth more than any bar I could’ve jumped. What a privilege it is to have something so hard to say goodbye to. NHG Strong & Go Hawks🤍
