💭 Why am I so sore? Did I do anything different the past few days?

🤔 Nope.

Homecoming.

If we could rewind the clock and bring back every person who helped build this race, we would. The athletes, coaches, teams, volunteers, and communities whose names and faces became part of Frontline OCR’s soul.

A lot can happen in a year. Since the 11th Wave, we’re working harder than ever to make the results of that work visible on our way to the 12th wave, in the stories we’re telling, the major support we’re bringing in, and the race we’re building for you.

We’re working to make the 12th Wave our greatest yet. But the heart and soul of this race has never been the rigs, the course, or the obstacles. It’s you.

The people that have been here since the beginning, the people that found us along the way, and the people who stepped away due to life, change of focus, or circumstances beyond their control.

The people who built this race can never be replaced. The athletes who carried the mission forward have added their own chapters to its story. At the 12th Wave, we want to bring those chapters together—and recognize everyone who helped get us here.

Whether you return to the course or come back to volunteer, we want you to see what Frontline has become and remember that you helped make it.

You helped build this race. You still have a place in it.

It’s time to come home.

Experiencing failure again and again makes success feel that much sweeter ☀️🌈

Running up the warped wall might come naturally for some, but not this girl! Some days I’m not even close, while others I tell myself I’m not leaving this gym until I get 3 in a row!

I got the call!!!☎️🎉☎️🎉

I feel so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to compete for American Ninja Warrior season 19 in Vegas.

From the very first day I stepped into a ninja gym back in 2015, when there was only one in our area @chicago_ninja_academy, I knew I wanted to apply for the show. I remember the owner @nateaye saying “Don’t sell yourself short, you should go for it!” So I did, and here I am today still going for it! Thanks to @nateaye @ami_g_patel_ @r_payne03 and everyone who trained at CNA back in the day for the encouragement. 🤩

I spent 3 years training and applying….and not getting the call, to finally getting my chance to compete in 2019 in Cincinnati. 🎉

I loved ninja so much, I built a business around it in 2018 and it’s still going strong today @lilbeastninjas 💜Thanks to @melissa_rogers_yolo my OG business partner for all of our years building the business.

I feel blessed to have had the chance to train, coach and compete alongside @flexlabreck @fit_tori33 @brian_redard at our gym @ultimateninjas_naperville 💚💙 and of course I love training with @jumpingjoe94 @karissakozola and the super strong crew at @bigtimeninjagym too!💪

Thanks to my family, friends and training partners who have been there for me! If I didn’t give you a personal shout out, you know I love you!❤️

This past year I started competing again and have had many people ask if I’m going to try for the show again. All it took was for my Mom to say “You should go for it” and here I am! Listen to your mom! 😉❤️

At 52 years old, I am still pushing myself to go after my goals and I am so grateful to have this opportunity to get out there and compete on the big stage again!🎉

ANW 19 - let’s go!💪💪💪

Ann-Marie is back to defend her title. Last year, her very first time racing with us, she stood alone atop the women's 20-29 podium with 100% obstacle completion.

Rookie year, zero misses. And if we gave out an award for muddiest human on course, she'd probably have swept that too. 👀

Now @am_lancaster is back to see if she can do it again.
