Why I Love UltraVision. ❤️ @ultravisionrf

After more than 27 years in dermatology, I’ve worked with countless technologies designed to improve skin health and rejuvenation.

But one of the things I love most about UltraVision RF Microneedling is its ultrasound technology.

Here’s why that matters.

Our skin isn’t the same thickness everywhere. The forehead, cheeks, jawline, and other areas all have different tissue depths.

With traditional RF microneedling, treatment depths are selected based on clinical assessment and anatomical knowledge.

UltraVision takes that one step further.

Its integrated ultrasound technology allows me to actually visualize the layers of the skin and measure tissue thickness before selecting treatment depths.

This means I can customize my treatment approach based on each patient’s individual anatomy rather than relying on generalized depth settings.

And that’s what I love most. Because when it comes to your skin, precision matters.

Technology that allows me to see more, know more, and personalize every treatment is technology I believe in.

What happens beneath the skin during RF microneedling?✨

In our first webinar, Understanding Radiofrequency, Dr. Emil Tanghetti explored the histology of photodamaged skin, including solar elastosis and collagen changes, and how RF microneedling creates a controlled wound response in the dermis and a portion of the epidermis.

From fine wrinkles and sun damage to acne scars, understanding the science behind the technology is essential for aesthetic providers.

Join us for our upcoming webinars featuring expert speakers discussing the value, applications, and ideal combination therapies of RF microneedling, along with skin health and in depth discussions on aesthetic technology.

🎉Happy National Aesthetician Day!

I’m grateful to celebrate this holiday once again in a profession that I love with the most amazing patients, colleagues and family supporting me along the way. What an honor it has been to serve the Hampton Roads community for so many years.

It’s been my absolute pleasure and joy. Thank you God for blessing me with this gift and opportunity to serve.

On the surface, both leave your skin looking better. But they’re working in completely different layers.

✅ A facial works on the surface.
Cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, hydration. It’s maintenance for the outermost layer of skin. It feels great, and it has its place. But it doesn’t reach past the epidermis.

✅ RF microneedling works underneath.
The needles create micro-channels that reach into the dermis, and radiofrequency energy heats that deeper layer — the one where collagen and elastin are actually produced. That’s a different kind of change: not surface polish, but structural improvement.

The simplest way I explain it to clients:

A facial refreshes what’s already there. RF microneedling rebuilds what’s underneath it.

That’s also why the two aren’t in competition. A lot of people do both. Facials for regular upkeep, RF microneedling for deeper, longer-term change.

Not sure which one fits what you’re trying to fix? That’s exactly what a consult is for. DM us 🤍
