오늘은 크리스마스 팝업으로 진행된 <Skate Space> 마지막 날입니다 🎄🛹 《Skate Space》 2021. 12. 24. - 12. 26. 금-일요일 12:00-19:00 새공간 (서울시 성북구 삼선교로 2길 11) Skate Space란 한 사람이 스케이트를 탈 수 있을 만큼의 충분한 개인의 공간을 의미한다. 이번 프로젝트에서 공간은 디지털 세대의 새로운 유형인 메타버스의 형태를 지니고있다. 추상적 개념을 만들기 쉽고 공유하기 쉬우며 누구나 알아 볼 수 있게 직관적인 시각화가 가능해지는 세상이 도래한다. 즉, 메타버스 세상에서 누구나 아티스트가 될 수 있는 디지털 아트 아카이브 공간이다. 개인의 프라이버시가 존중되는 디지털 세상의 스튜디오와 3D 캔버스를 소유하게 되는 것이다. 이번 전시에서 나의 Skate Space를 공유한다. 가상과 현실의 구분이 모호해진 세상에서 상상하는 모든것이 가상의 현실이 될 수 있다. 더 나아가 가상의 공간이 실제 현실로 착각할 만큼 정교해지고, 일상의 활동 대부분이 구현됨으로써 굳이 두 세계의 영역을 구분할 필요가 없게 되는 ‘대체세계’ 까지 바라볼 수 있게 되었다. 오로지 현실세계에서만 가능할 것으로 생각되던 다양한 예술 활동들이 가상세계에서 새롭게 구현되고 있다.
