BRIDAL MASTERCLASS 👩‍🎨

11 years of experience in the industry there’s nothing more I love then being in the bridal industry and teaching my skills and techniques to other talented artists.

Standing in front of other talented artist and teaching them my techniques was definitely scary for me and stepping out of my comfort zone but it was always something I wanted to do and let me tell you I am so glad I did.

We all have dreams and sometimes we can be our worst enemies scaring ourself and always thinking of worst case scenario but all i can say is you will never know if you don’t try

If you want to do something DO IT! And if you fail don’t let that stop you from doing it again till you succeed.

Thankyou once again for these talented artist for letting me teach them this wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for them.

2nd masterclass will be announced soon, send us your details to be the first to know and purchase your tickets

This year was a huge year of growth for me - dealing with grief after the loss of my nana & healing after an injury that stopped me in my tracks - but also achieving things that I never thought I could do. I released my lecture-recital film, Performing Assyrian-ness, presented my Assyrian research at an international symposium, guest lectured for the first time + got to end the year with a trip doing what I love with my Assyrian community 🎵

Thank you to the family, friends & mentors who helped me do it all this year, and I’m so grateful to be part of a community that is so loving and supportive 🌟

It feels so special to be able to fill this recital hall with the sounds of Assyrian piano music, something that I never thought was possible way back when I was studying classical piano as an undergraduate student. We finished filming the performances for my Performing Assyrian-ness lecture-recital this weekend, which feels so great to say out loud since recovering from my injury (shout out to my physiotherapist) 🌟

I couldn’t have done it on Saturday without this stellar team:

My incredible piano teacher, Dr. Natalia Andreeva
Cinematography by the incredible @umbrellafilms
Sound by @moon.vault
Project management by my sis @leahemmanuel13 and my cuz @nusardel
With beautifully made films by @dicky_bahto (not pictured here but my GAHD they are amazing)

More info to come soon, but in the meantime click the link in my bio to stay in the loop! Can’t wait to show you all soon!

This project forms part of my Doctor of Musical Arts research on Assyrian Art music and is supported by the NSW Government through @creatensw ✨
