Join the UMD Black Alliance’s town hall in ESJ 2224 at 4pm!

The statement from AIM UMD on this University’s administration continued inaction regarding the racist imagery sent out by Club Tennis which is evident UMD Administration continues to serve systemically racist systems rooted in exploitation of Black communities and homelands.

On October 1st, UMD students across orgs in the Anti-Imperialist Movement coalition mobilized to speak out against human rights abusers on our campus during the career fair. Employers such as Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, UMD’s ARLIS, Booz Allen, General Dynamics, BOEING, and Aerovironment are responsible for supplying and contributing to war crimes and human rights violations around the world.

✊Students raised the direct effects of these companies, such as forced migration and fascist attacks on migrants, heightened militarization, and genocide. [Swipe through for highlights on each of the AIM speeches!]

💥WHAT YOU CAN DO: Say NO 🚫 to recruiters profiting from war and genocide, tell your friends about it, and fight with us as a part of AIM (Anti-Imperialist Movement) at UMD!

‼️COMING UP: TOMORROW, Meet us at 3:30pm at the University United Methodist Church. We will have a “For Our Martyrs Rally” to protest the USM Board of Regents’ complicity on the 3-year mark of the genocide of Palestine during their annual retreat. As they sit in their hotel rooms, LET’S KEEP MAKING OUR VOICES HEARD!!

The student community from UMD alongside University United Methodist Church spoke out about the continued injustice in the Philippines to activists like Christina and Binay as well as the continued fight against imperialism, oppression, and fascism around the world.

JUSTICE FOR THE NEGROS 19!

Are you a STEM student at the UMD?
Did you know these facts about the companies hiring at the STEM focus Career Fair on October 1st? Join us for a speak-out infront of The Hotel at UMD at 3:00pm to learn about them and hear from other enraged students who oppose war contractors, human rights violaters, and genocide profiteers being on campus. Come meet the Anti-Imperialist UMD organizations and get involved with kicking them out!
We stand in solidarity with the many peoples displaced, surveilled, and killed by the products of these companies for profit. We demand for UMD to stop inviting them to our campus! Stop the pipeline of recruiting students to war-profiteers!

The Anti-Imperialist UMD organizations are holding a speak-out during the STEM focus Career Fair on October 1st infront of The Hotel at UMD at 3:00pm. We are opposing our universities decisions to repeatedly sell out our students and staff for the sake of war contractors, human rights violaters, and genocide profiteers. In 2026 we have seen massive budget cuts and rising tuition across the university, yet at the same time our school is spending 65 million on the creation of a Quantum research hub. This hub is being built around the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS), and Microsoft. ARLIS conducts secretive research for the Department of War. Microsoft is currently raising money for data centers around the world that Pax Silica will is advancing with their imperialist agreement, a Critical Minerals supply chain project designed to build up for war with China and improve AI supply chains. The land being taken for this initiative will displace thousands of Indigenous people in the Philippines.

Companies like Lockheed Martin and Boeing are involved in contracts with DHS and ICE, providing drone surveillance and weapons that often target children, schools, hospitals, and indigenous people. Companies like L3Harris and AeroVironment are war profitters that perpetuate the war, violence and genocide in Gaza, Iran, the Philippines, and all around the globe. L3 manufactures critical components for the Tomahawk missile system which was tested on civilian land in the Philippines and bombed the Minab girl’s school in Iran killing 120 children. We stand in solidarity with the many peoples displaced, surveilled, and killed by the products of these companies for profit. We demand UMD to cut research and institutional ties with these companies and recruiters! Stop the pipeline of recruiting students to war-profiteers! Money for jobs and education not for war and occupation!
