On April 11th, we came together with ASCE at Nyumburu Patio and walked around common campus routes to pick up litter and pour back into our community. Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to work, because building a finer future starts with us. 🕊️

Beyond the cleanup itself, attendees were also educated on how litter impacts the environment. We discussed how waste left on the ground can enter stormwater systems, pollute local waterways, and harm wildlife. By removing litter, we help protect ecosystems and create a healthier, more sustainable campus.

This event also emphasized that individual actions matter. Small efforts, like picking up a single piece of trash, contribute to a larger collective impact. When we take responsibility for our shared spaces, we set the standard for others and create lasting change in our community.
