In this problem, we apply two fundamental concepts: ✔️ Mass balance (continuity equation) ✔️ Steady-flow energy equation The key is to understand which equation to use, why it applies, and how to solve it step by step. Struggling with Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, or Heat Transfer? I can help you understand concepts and solve engineering problems with confidence. #thermodynamics #heattransfer #fluidmechanics #mechanicalengineering #onlinetutoring

Maryland is the Capital of Quantum! We were thrilled to take part in Quantum World Congress 2026 (QWC), held in College Park at @thehotelumd. Researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, public officials, and industry leaders from across the globe came to campus for QWC at the end of September and learned about the investments and research that we're doing at @univofmaryland and the state of Maryland. UMD’s quantum research combines physics, computer science, engineering and materials science, resulting in applications with the power to change the world. BWI Aviation Career Education Academy 2026 "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." – Thomas A. Edison Aviation is not easy but very rewarding. The community is small but the bonds are strong with the tightest network. Teamwork brings this academy together. Long hours but to see the lightbulb go off after the first flight makes it all worth it. See you guys next year!

760 engineering students. 143 research projects. All eight engineering departments. All on display under one roof for one night. We're still feeling the vibes of last week's Capstone Design Expo, and we're thrilled to share these photos of some of the great work and excitement. Congratulations to our innovative students, thought-provoking faculty, dedicated staff, meticulous judges, generous sponsors, and wonderful attendees. What a team and what an event!
