Umesh Kumar’s (@umeshkumarartist ) art is a vibrant fusion of tradition and contemporary expression. Deeply influenced by the intricate patterns of Rangoli, he translates the art form into a unique visual language using acrylics. The artist’s fascination with Rajasthan is evident in his work, where he meticulously captures the essence of the region’s architecture. From ornate palaces to intricate jharokhas, Umesh transforms these iconic elements into captivating compositions, imbuing them with a contemporary sensibility. His paintings are a celebration of Rajasthan’s rich heritage, presented through a fresh and innovative lens.

Kumar will be displaying his works at Shades of Sāwan, only at Shailja Art Gallery.

Join us for the preview on August 24, 2024, 05:30 pm onwards as we drown in the world of colours and creativity.
