When my lovely co-mentor started his journal to mark the end of our 7 mentoring sessions, I got inspired to write mine too ☺️

This is my 2nd year with ChAMP Chula, and Year 6 if counting my ChAMP Engineering days. I’ve stayed this long with mentoring journey simply because of my genuine joy in listening to & understanding these talented kids and hopefully shaping & sharing perspectives that may be useful as they grow.

This year, I got paired with Mac. On the mentee pairing day, I couldn’t join, and this very considerate man called me throughout the day so I could virtually be in the room. Thank you for being so considerate na kaa ☺️

Our Pair 10 journey started at Mac’s house, and we continued through many dinners, conversations and stories with our mentees - Loogkaew, Kamin, Porsche & Umi.

Along the way, I got to watch 💗Loogkaew, our talented girl, navigate the very good problem of having too many great career & life options so she needs to optimize & choose; 💗Kamin, our smart young lawyer, take her first steps from university into the very different world of a law firm - challenging but great strength builder 💪; 💗Porsche, our natural-born President, bring us many leadership and people lessons (but few love-life updates so we make sure to ask 🤣); and 💗Umi, our youngest, sweet, and girl-of-a-hundred-activities (as everyone wants her in their teams), who played piano for us on the very first day. 🎹

And 💗 Mac - handsome (he knows 😂), fun, supportive like a comfy sofa with an open-door policy, and also introduced us to rock climbing. Very happy to have you as my co-mentor ka 🥰

Looking back, what I love most is how different everyone is - yet each is already a leader in their own way, and together we have made a very fun pair 😊

So perhaps my mentor message after all these sessions to the four of you is:

Cherish relationships. Enjoy what you have and where you are. No need to rush or pressure yourself too much. There will always be another goal, another challenge and another mountain to climb so be kind to yourself along the way 💕✌️and you are already fabulous 💛

#Mentoring sessions completed but pair 10 lifetime membership never ends. 🫶🏻😄

Dear Umi, Porsche, Kamin and Lookkaew, my dear mentees, ✨

Even though ChAMP14 final mentoring session is done, our conversations will continue.

It's not about me and p’Or giving coaching or sharing work and life lessons but, we've made a great pair. I personally can recharge myself with great sharings from all of you, and definitely from Kamin’s humor. Seeing you guys as not only the great talents but the future leaders reminds me to keep up and do better. Learning on your generation’s capabilities and interests are always fascinating. And the best part, knowing that you guys have grown up so fast in just less than a year always make me proud.

Although the dynamic of every pair is always unique, there’s something special in this set up. With law, accounting and engineering students mix, there's something I can't explain but made it perfect.

And to p'Or, my smiley cute co-mentor, thank you for having me as your partner in crime for this. I might be new to this, and might have made things more difficult comparing to any other co-mentor but you're always being supportive and mature. (So I could be less mature and more playful.) I'm so grateful to be your co-mentor from the beginning.

To LK and Kamin, the senior two, you've done a lot of great things. Congrats on your graduation, and on the new pageflip of your life journey. Life's just begun. Don't think too much, don't rush, and make the most out of this phase where everyone is willing to support the first jobbers.

To Mr. President Porsche, I'm so proud of you. Now, it’s time for you to focus, and kick some ass out there. Focus, and kick ass. I know you can do it.

To Umi. Leadership is never about the age. You have the qualities of a good leader in you, but that's not the best part. The best part is your caring for others, and your resiliency, to whatever challenge you have in life.

Thanks not for choosing us as your mentors but, for all the good reflections and laughters, and for taking our learnings to make impact further.

Special thanks to all ChAMP 14 OC and team.

See you around, sis and bro.
