The Venturelympics were a success! Throughout the weekend, venturers and older scouts from across the council competed in fun challenges and learned EMS skills. Not only that, they put the skills they learned into practice with real-world scenario activities using EMS training equipment. Thank you to Spring Lake Park OEC, Minnesota-Wisconsin K9 Search and Rescue, and @umn.ems for making this event unforgettable!

Over the weekend Crew 8 attended Venturelympics hosted by the councils VOA. The crew had fun doing lots of activities and meeting lots of guest speakers. The crew got to learn about emergency services and first aid from the University of Minnesota EMS, Spring Lake Park OEC, and Minnesota-Wisconsin K9 SAR. The crew even got to take part in a simulation emergency scenario! We also had fun playing a variety of games such as tug of war, Hammerschlagen, Trivia, Orienteering Courses, and more! The youth crew can in 1st, adults came in the 3rd, and one of our crew members was even on staff. We can’t wait to attend next year’s event! #mnwik9sar #venturelympics2025 #venturing
