POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m a little late in posting this, but last week I saw an amazing performance by The United States Air Force Band @usafband! They received a standing ovation and on one selection, “God Bless America,” choral members from @umontana sang alongside the Singing Sergeants! It was also a time to honor all servicemen and women in every branch of the #USMilitary! Here are some clips— enjoy!

Can the Cats kicks off November 7!

Every pound counts during Can the Cats, MFB&CC's and the UM Food Pantry's annual food and fund drive!

From November 7th-21st, students, campus groups, local businesses, and community members will team up to collect food and raise funds to help keep our shelves stocked through the winter months. Better yet, every $1 donated helps provide the equivalent of 1 pound of food.

Whether you're collecting donations, competing with friends, or making a gift of your own, now is the perfect time to start planning how you'll support Can the Cats!

If ya didn’t know, now you know!!

@chicksonsticksum is an incredible club sponsored by @umontana !!!

It was such pleasure to meet some of the leaders of the club outside the SOS Fair hosted by @themontanasnowbowl volunteer and national ski patrol.

Chicks on Sticks already have a couple resorts that they like to go to based on price but if there are any other Montana resorts that want to sponsor some of their trips and bring them out to your mountain, reach out!!!

So you are #montanagrizzlies student looking for a way to get out and play on the snow this year, this is your opportunity!!!

Can’t argue with that. 🤷🏼‍♀️💅🏼

Stop by the Wellbeing Suite (east entrance of CHC) and check out our Wellness Wall for grab-and-go supplies like essential oils, stress-relief tools, and so much more!

October has been a big month for recognition at FLBS. Earlier this month, at the Montana Section of the American Water Resources Association Conference in Billings, MT, FLBS Graduate Students Jake McArtor and Kelsey Walworth received MT AWRA Student Awards for their Oral and Poster Presentations, respectively!

Additionally, FLBS Assistant Research Professor Rachel Malison was named Secretary of the MT AWRA Board of Directors!

The Montana Section of the American Water Resources Association (AWRA) was founded in 1984 and currently consists of over 750 professionals and students that share the common goal of promoting water resources research, planning, development, and education in Montana. To accomplish these goals, the Montana Section of AWRA hosts a meeting each year to provide a common forum for physical, biological, and social scientists, engineers, and others interested in water resources.

✨Donor Impact in Action✨

This past week, 18 students from @glacierhighschoolwolfpack, 11 students from Flathead High School, 2 students from Linderman Education Center, and @kalispell_public_schools counselors and staff traveled to the @umontana to get a tour, have lunch at the Lodge, and learn all about what new adventures await them as a part of the Griz.

What was particularly exciting was hearing from past graduates about how happy they are at UM!

Thanks to your continued support, KEF was able to provide transportation for this trip, giving our students the opportunity to explore one of the many paths available to them after graduation!

Bear Necessities is hosting a hygiene drive next week, from 10/26 - 10/30! 🧼

If you’re able, please consider donating your unused, sealed hygiene products (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, menstrual products, etc) to our student pantry! Donation boxes will be available in the UC’s west atrium and in the library.

Let’s show up for our fellow Griz! 🧼🧴🪥🛁
