I love what I do. Especially when it involves sunny summer days at @josephjanewinery and fresh cut, locally grown flowers from @rusticriverfarms 🥰

Yesterday’s content session was extra special. It was our 6th anniversary. 🙌🏼

Working with the love of my life never gets old. @williamjburt thank you for the BTS shots. 🥹😘

Sunny days where I get to play in my garden and work for clients refills my cup so much. Come along with me as I shoot product photography of a wine label I designed with flowers from my very own garden! 📸

If you haven’t tried the latest release from @josephjanewinery Tay’s Rosé, you are missing out. The wine inside the bottle is just as good as the label looks. (I might be a little biased. 🥳😍) If you love a dry rosé this is one you need to try.

Also if you are waivering on whether to plant your own, peonies are a true labor of love, but the work and wait are definitely worthwhile. 🌸

Acrobat 2021 Pinot Gris ($15) is a crisp, vibrant, tangy taste of summer, with aromas and layered flavors of citrus, apples and pears, brushed with minerality and backed with good acidity.

Moreover, we prefer citrus notes in our white wines, so this one is perfect for our palates. It features bright, light, breezy citrus that is present in every sip.

Fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, this is a refreshing deck wine. We named the 2019 vintage on our list of Warm Weather Whites last year, and this vintage will continue that trend this year.

Using sustainable practices, Acrobat’s wallet-friendly wines are sourced from grapes from three Oregon AVAs: the Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue Valleys.

More details about Acrobat Pinot Gris, along with 2019 Pinot Noir, are at the bio link, or copy this link into your browser: https://writeforwine.com/acrobat/

As Oregon Wine Month winds down, we raise our glass to toast 2021 Acrobat Pinot Gris and 2019 Acrobat Pinot Noir. Using sustainable practices, these wallet-friendly wines are sourced from grapes from three Oregon AVAs: the Willamette, Umpqua and Rogue Valleys.

2021 Pinot Gris ($15) is a crisp summer sipper, with aromas and layered flavors of citrus, apples and pears, brushed with minerality and backed with good acidity. We named the 2019 vintage on our list of Warm Weather Whites last year, and this vintage will continue that trend this year.

2019 Pinot Noir ($19) opens with fragrant aromas of cherries, raspberries and hazelnuts, leading into flavors of strawberries, dark chocolate, earthiness and spices. It will pair perfectly with salmon barbecued on a cedar plank.

Today, during #OregonWineMonth, is #NationalWineDay! 🍷 We have a lot of wine history in the Umpqua Valley, including being the birthplace of the Oregon pinot. 🍇

Pictured here, Richard Sommer in his cellar. In 1961 here in the Umpqua Valley, Richard Sommer established HillCrest Vineyard, making it the oldest continually-operating post-prohibition estate winery in Oregon. Sommer was also the first to plant pinot noir vines in Oregon, making HillCrest the birthplace of Oregon #pinotnoir. Read more about the history of wine through the link in our bio.
