RECLAIM YOUR CITY 696 Very happy to contribute a set to @ryc.official 's iconic podcast series ❤️. As RYC told me that they favour the more dynamic sets (which I wholeheartedly agree with), I tried to make it a bit more dynamic with a very slow start and some moments of a bit more rest/dreamyness sprinkled throughout while still keeping it driving and dark. I've been playing with the idea of creating an album for a while now, so the music I've been making lately has been very ambient-focused and more musical/theatrical. So a few of those in there :). Hope you like it!

It's releaseday! UN_defined001 is out now on all platforms. 3 tracks that I've made over the course of the last 5 years. Music that still moves me personally after all these years, which is always a good sign. Sorry to people that expect techno, but this is a little sidestep to something different. You know who you are ❤️ "UN_defined is a new series of releases on my label Maximalist_Minimalist. As UN_defined is a totally different sound from my techno releases, I wanted to create a new catalog and alter ego for these on the same platform. Having a defined sound as an artist is simultaneously incredibly important to grow a fanbase and the most restraining thing there can be for one’s creativity. UN_defined will be an outlet for whatever I feel like or am inspired by in the future. I’ve always been Influenced and inspired by melodically driven electronica, IDM, modern classical music and anything else melancholic, so I’m incredibly stoked and, truthfully, crazy anxious to show this different side of my artistry. This music is incredibly personal to me, and shows quite accurately what inspires me on a daily basis. The initial idea of setting up my own label 3 years ago, was to break away from the shackles of having to make music for others, so this is me doubling down. I want people to see the full spectrum of who I am as an artist, and this absolutely includes this more melodic/melancholic/melo-dramatic side of me. This sound is heavily focused on, but not limited to synthesis, harmony, atmospheric soundscapes and broken beat patterns. A more “free” approach to making music, leaving any preconceptions about who or what I should be as an artist at the door. For being undefined means to experience creative freedom."
