💛NEW SHOW💜
This Sunday, it’ll be dreamy, cinematic and multi-dimensional when @una_luga serves up swampy cocktails of slow rock with notes of synthesis and goth. We repeat: it’s this coming Sunday, 8 June.

Coming up is EXTRACTIONS, a 10-day residency with a work sharing on the 28th November in collaboration with Gustav Carl Rey Henningsen, Jacob Kirkegaard, Juan Pino, Frederikke Krebs Bahn, Nadja Mattioli and Nikolaj Dinesen.

Here, we enter an investigation of the logics and rhythms of mined and exhausted landscapes and bodies. In a mixture of a sacred space and post-apocalyptic stone landscape we explore the fusions of modern flamenco, stone percussion, field recording compositions, twisted pop, live looping and video in new syntheses between flesh and stone.

The process will be shared with the audience as part of the Klub Kreatur series of @sorthvidscene

We are happy to invite you to our “Lysgilde” on December 19th at 6 PM in Mimersparken. 🕯️

The changing of the seasons has always held great significance for past farming communities. During the winter solstice and the Candlemas season, they held festivals in honor of the gods to ensure the continued cycle of the seasons, so that after a cold, dark winter, a brighter and warmer summer would follow. Just before the winter solstice, we are having our own celebration of the return of light, at a time when the sun goes to bed early and darkness fills the day. The concept is inspired by winter feasts of the past, and as a gathering where the performing artists will each contribute something to the common table with their performances. The evening will include readings, performances, music, and lights.

Winter can feel long and dreary, and in many cases lonely. With this light-fest, we would like to reinterpret these ancient traditions and create a new, shared space where winter-depressed people can gather to celebrate the return of the light.

The event is supported by Nørrebro Lokaludvalg.
