5+ hours a day for intensives will teach you a lot about how you actually train.

A few lessons worth taking into your next intensive:

1. Marking is your best friend.
You don’t have to go full-out every rep. Learn to conserve your energy while still staying connected to the music. Save something for when it matters.

2. Recovery is part of the training.
Sleep. Hydration. Food for fuel. A calm mind. What you do outside the studio affects what you’re able to give inside of it.

3. When you’re tired, your habits start to show.
When you’re feeling good, it’s easier to dance up to your expectations. But when you’re exhausted or simply not having your best day, your foundation is what you can rely on.

So build habits worth falling back on.

Bounce. Rock. Groove. Foundation.

Long intensives don’t just test your stamina, they reveal what you’ve built.
