POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s my Issa Rae era.

Figured with a Winter Olympic year, it was time to tell my story. I pitched a sports short last year…

And it worked.

We’re not done, fundraising is hard, people bailing is humbling, working with your sibling is amazing. But being from the coldest village in Nigeria explains more about us than I thought.

It’s like holy sh*t, is this destiny? (Hell yes)

When I went back to Nigeria in 2022, I looked like this— no hair, also no dialect so my family’s questions were fairly colder than the weather.

“Why have you barbed your hair? Your skin is black, but your speech is white?” and of course… “When will you marry?”

Feels like a lifetime ago, but in 2 weeks me and a dream team bridge a gap, and I can’t wait! First Accra for a wedding work event to end December, then off to my maternal roots ⛰️.
