19 years ago and still seems like yesterday. We were a huge hit with the 70s theme. That group pic is iconic! And of course, Hunter looks adorable as our sailor.

Another great trip to NYC. 🗽 Saw three Broadway shows and went to the Top of the Rock and the Frick Museum. And topped off the week seeing Susan, Tom, Zibby and Uncle Larry. #chosenfamily❤️ #ilovenyc #thisisapoundsign

So grateful to be celebrating two decades of being clean and sober. And I didn't do it alone! A special thanks to ...

My sister, Jodi. I am so grateful that I was able to get my act together to make my living amends to you.

My younger sister, Jill, and my bro-in-law, Russ. We went through a lot of crap these past couple years but the bright side is that we've never been closer.

My nieces and nephew, Britt, Haley, Jack and Annie. My favorite thing in the world is being your Uncle Potty.

My birth family, Gene, Erika, Nick, Stephanie and Katie. I am so happy that we found each other and so honored to be a Heidemann.

My birth mother, Peggy, and her husband, Tom. You are so beyond sweet and I cherish our newfound relationship.

My beautiful and so handsome boyfriend, John. I'm so glad that we are enjoying this second chance at love together with so much grace, ease and laughter.

My CCN Family. We work hard, but we have so much fun.

The Rainbow Turtles, Jim, Jeff, Mark, Jason and Brian. You guys are the best of the best. And I have never had so much fun with anyone else.

The OG Funky Monkeys (too many to mention). Thanks for helping me to give back by riding an insane amount of miles on my bike for a good cause while having a blast doing it.

David and Luis. We've been friends from the get go, and I am so honored to be trudging this road that you have paved for the rest of us.

Uncle Larry. You are one of the most loving, caring and selfless persons on the planet. You are an inspiration.

Stacy K. Danfifer. You are one of the most sick and twisted persons on the planet, and I love every bit of it (as I am just as sick and twisted). But I also know your secret: You are one of the most thoughtful persons on Earth. EMH.

Marcos. Not even 7,500 miles will stop us from ever being each other's best friend, brother and person. Although I do miss your face and hope we can rectify that soon.

My sweet boy, Chase. I miss you every day but cherish the 16+ years we shared together. You were with me for most of my sobriety.

There are so many others I could mention, but I am running out of space, but you know who you are.

Love you all bunches!

Our first full day in NYC was a blast. We saw Idina Menzel in Redwood and Megan Hilty in Death Becomes Her. But the best thing we saw was Uncle Larry. We loved spending time with our favorite uncle.
