🎙️ New episode of Life on the Road is live, and this one is wild.

Coach Drew Richards, head coach at UNC Pembroke, sat down with Coach Alphonza Kee and Coach Scott Bollwage did not hold anything back. He walks us through the run to a conference championship and NCAA tournament berth, then the very next season, when a good record still was not enough to get back there. That's the game.

But the story that will stop you mid scroll is from his junior college days, when a recruit went missing right before summer classes and Coach Richards ended up calling jail after jail trying to track him down. No Instagram, no group chats, just phone calls and persistence until he found his guy.

He also gets into a trip to Italy that changed how he sees the game, and a close call with law enforcement while out recruiting that shows a side of coaching nobody puts in the highlight reel.

This one is for every coach who has ever had to go further than the job description to take care of their players. Full episode is up now, link in bio.

Rising junior @taylorjohnson28_ has shown nothing but growth since joining us in her first year with the Atlanta Strikers! 💙

At the beginning of every season, we ask our players one simple question: “Do you like it, or do you love it?” Taylor’s answer has always been, “I love it.” From that moment on, she committed to the process putting in extra work before practice, embracing every opportunity to improve, and consistently raising her level of play.

That dedication is paying off. Taylor is poised to be one of the top guards in the county this upcoming season, and we’re excited to see all of her hard work continue to shine.

To top it off, she received her first college invitation from UNC Pembroke following our NXTPRO Live Period in Orlando! This is just the beginning, and we know many more opportunities are on the way.

Congratulations, Taylor! Keep working—the best is yet to come! 💙😎 #AtlantaStrikers #TrustTheProcess #NXTPRO #CollegeRecruitment

Class of 2027

College coaches, it’s time to take a serious look.

Two explosive guards who bring relentless energy on both ends of the floor. They can score at all three levels, compete with passion, defend, and make winning plays. Their motor never stops, and they impact the game in multiple ways.

The Cole Twins are ready for the next level. Don’t let this recruiting opportunity pass you by. 👀📈
