What happens when circular fashion meets the dancefloor? A whole lot of style, self-expression, and seriously good energy.

For its 5th edition, Style Swap joined forces with Undarground, and Alliance came alive with upcycled fashion, infectious grooves, and a crowd that understood the assignment. Designers worked their magic, transforming pre-loved garments into fresh new statements, while the runway quickly became a dancefloor.

With DJ Aziz behind the decks, the night unfolded into spins, dance circles, dance-offs, and catwalks that blurred the line between performance and party. Every look carried its own story, proving that sustainability and style don't just coexist but that they thrive together.

A huge thank you to everyone who swapped, danced, created, and celebrated with us.

We already can't wait to see what the next edition has in store!

A little throwback to the 5th edition
Style Swap x @undarground255 💚🪩

The swap was swapping! Amazing finds, fresh fits, and plenty of style transformations. It was beautiful to see clothes finding new homes and strangers becoming friends.

Thank you to our designers for creating unique upcycled pieces for everyone to swap @spincks_styles @willofgodalive @this.is.kahawa @kwa_mzungu and to @dream.designstanzania for the mending station which is becoming an integral part of our event.

Then UnDarGround took over with pure energy, fresh sounds, and a dance floor that stayed hot all evening. Shoutout to @aziz_ally1 for keeping the groove going.

Thank you to the style swap ladies @amelia_okinka @germie_s @chi.temu for organizing and @af_dar for hosting and supporting the event!

A good vibe? Every single time. So what happens when good looks meet good vibes while making sure we’re reducing waste in Dar @style_swaptz

So obviously it was a no brainer to refresh my wardrobe for $0, catch up with friends, discover incredible designers, watch a fashion show, and somehow help the environment all at once 💚💚💫💫

A beautiful reminder that fashion can be fun, creative, community-driven, and purposeful.
