POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Long sappy post incoming. Not my usual but it’s needed.

Wow what an amazing weekend. Now that I’m back to normal life and have been able to process I’m ready to start sharing. (I also suck and never take photos so I’ve needed to collect many lol)
This past weekend I was very lucky that, thanks to my amazing Wife @under.an.inkspell I was able to attend the Launch Celebration for @authorljandrews newest book, The Stolen Crown.

If you haven’t read any of her books please please please do they are amazing.

The weekend was a fever dream of fun, new experiences, found family, and so much more. Too much for one post so honestly prepare to be spammed over the next bit.

But I will start with this. @authorljandrews getting to meet you and celebrate this amazing story with you was so special and a memory I will always hold dear. Thank you for everything you’ve given to this world and my family. You are a genuine soul and we are so lucky to have gotten to meet and connect with you. I cannot wait for what’s next.

@melissa_k_roehrich meeting you was a true dream come true. I credit Scarlett, and your Lady Of Darkness series with bringing back my love of books after years of not reading and I could not be more thankful for that gift. My signed copy is now among my most prized possession.

I have so many other amazing people I want to thank because I know this weekend took an army to pull off. So team LJ thank you so much.

And to the Skadi doesn’t know crew, thank you for adopting us into your little found family for the weekend. Not only are you all beautiful souls, amazing artists, and a lot of fun to be around. But you’ve all become friends, I cannot wait to see what the world has in store for you. Thank you. @_thebookishlifeofsyd @cailin.in.character @mrsfangirlrn @deepikasivakumarr

For everyone else. More to come on this amazing trip, but first go read an @authorljandrews book. Seriously I have some recommendations.

🏴‍☠️I can’t say enough, this weekend was one for the ages!

👑 The Stolen Crown Event was so much more than I imagined and I just know @authorljandrews and team need to be so proud of themselves and what they accomplished! Every author here was incredible to be around, what an honor to attend! *Who is that handsome stranger in the last photo? (IYKYK!)

💜 This weekend was also bittersweet because this was a hybrid event for myself and @alyssalovesbooks as I passed the torch of @authormirandalyn PA onto her! This weekend with the team was incredible and we were able to enjoy and love on one another! I just know Alyssa is rocking her new role and I will continue to focus on editing and supporting these incredible women (@melissa_k_roehrich @sarasurraa_ and @brittneyandthebooks ) they are a power house of love and chaos and although I am no longer in a PA role I will be around editing their amazing stories and supporting them! Miranda I am sorry if I made you cry, but also not sorry because you make me cry on a regular basis, pretty sure you own gallons of my readers tears! 💜💜💜

🫂 This event was the perfect way for me to end my travel season this year! 💜💜

There are honestly not enough words to describe how absolutely incredible this past weekend was at The Stolen Crown release party event. LJ and her team gathered the found family and gave us a celebration that even Erik Bloodsinger would brag about.

I’ll never forget when I downloaded the ebooks for The Broken Kingdoms series, and I I immediately knew you’d become one of my favorite authors after I finished the first book. Now, you are truly my favorite author, and who I choose to beg anyone who will listen to read your books. I never would have dreamed I would have gotten asked to cosplay one of your characters for an event.

Thank you infinitely to @authorljandrews for trusting me to bring Mira Sekundär to life. It was an honor to bring our sunshine princess to life, and I am so grateful. You truly made a dream come true.

Another thank you to @read.with.katieb @aubs_reads @shalee84 for helping making this event happen and making sure that every single person had the time of their lives. You truly are the most incredible team and family ✨

@catyrogan @authormirandalyn @melissa_k_roehrich @cortneylwinn @jamie.applegate.hunter it was so much fun watching and listening to you talk about your stories and characters. I can’t wait to add all of your books that I haven’t read yet to my growing TBR! ❤️

Also, if anyone took photos with us, I’d LOVE for you to send them to me! It was so wonderful getting to meet so many of you in person finally. Through LJ and her stories, I found so many amazing people and a found family I wouldn’t trade for anything. 💜

@bridget_bordeaux_vo @jake.bordeauxvo were so incredible with their performances. They truly brought Tait and Mira to life with their scenes 😍

@skadisaudiolibrary I am so incredibly stoked that we finally got to meet in person!! You are an absolute gem of a human 🥹

Something for wicked Wednesday. I once again got to see one of my favourite people in the whole world @nikkitabell a week and a bit ago. In celebration of her 2nd book “To Hell with bad decisions” and book 2.5 “I hate dead people (too)”. I got to give her the now customary yearly character crochet peen and this year I got to show off my new tattoo of her character by the ultra talented @dbrooke.ink 🤩 what a magical moment that was! One day is never enough but it will have to do until next year. The, hopefully long lasting, tradition of the yearly Edmonton visits have become a genuine bright spot in my year and I can’t wait until next year 😈❤️‍🔥🍷

A Night with Nikkita Bell! 🦂❤️‍🔥
I had the pleasure of meeting one of my favourite authors @nikkitabell for her event at the Book Boudoir! It was so fun to hear her share secrets about her work, but it was also inspiring listening to her chat about how much work she puts into each book, despite challenges along the way! Her characters reflect so clearly her real life friends and how much they inspire her every day. It was so wonderful to chat with her, she so kind!! GO READ HER BOOKS! They are SO much fun with beautiful art!

@booked.withbridget and @boundinindigo and I all went together, and had the best time meeting so many other amazing people! It was so fun meeting all of you! 🫶

Reagan Valentine’s cold, dead heart is bursting with love for you all 🖤🖤

Last year, my bestie @nikkitabell wrote me a book. And last night, I had the IMMENSE honour of being her conversation partner at an event where we celebrated that book, her new release, AND OF COURSE her first book baby!

Thank you to @bookboudoiryeg for hosting us and Edmonton’s little cult of Nikkita Bell! 🖤

And Nikki, it is the greatest honour to be your bestie PA and to be your friend. Until next time, Finn 😘🖤

(And if anyone has any photos from last night, please send them my way!)

Y'all, my peonies started blooming and I'm trying to refrain from staring at them every spare moment because they won't last long, and they're bringing me so much joy 😍 Prepare to see them sprinkled into posts while they last!

While I read queer all year, I added a couple more to the list for Pride month! Here's what's on my radar to read soon, swipe to see more hopefuls, covers and flowers 👀 I ended up finishing one of these the last day in May, but I had already taken pics, oh well!
