Found this on my phone and decided it needed a spot on the socials. This was my first @underground.dco piece since coming back in 2021 and I had this song in my pocket for years, wanting so badly to use it. The universe knew to save it for these dancers. I don't know how many rehearsals in we were at this point and this video is both far from perfect but also...absolutely perfect. There's just something about raw rehearsal footage 🤌 Pretty proud of this one

~Summer 2026~

This summer has been filled with dance, dance, and more dance. From choreographing for a wedding with @100roses, LOTS of drill practices and choreo with my favorite team @cwooddrillteam, teaching classes and choreographing solos/duos for @danceologystudio, dancing with @underground.dco, having a tree fall on my car, many busy yet rewarding days at work, and so much more.

I'm incredibly grateful for the work I get to do each day and having the opportunity to be a part of Utah's dance and drill team communities. Summer, you have flown by WAY to quickly, but I'm excited for football games, studio classes, UG and Collective rehearsals, and continuing to work alongside the people I love ❤️

~Poetry In Motion~

UG 14 and my fifth year on the company. This past year was one of my favorites and our show was personal, heartfelt, and absolutely magical. We all united together and I will never forget the energy both on the stage and from the audience.

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the season. Your support, generosity, love, and encouragement means the absolute world. Thank you to all of the choreographers who put your hearts, minds, bodies, and sould into your pieces. I'm grateful for @ms_smiles5 @the_charl @alliea123 @paitonkoa @nadiaganom @_sierra_holmes @_haimay @chase_wise8 @eldoson @slc.punks @fuiavss @msouvall210 @cordova_nova who's pieces I got to be a part of and learn from, and there's so many others that I loved watching; every piece in our show was beautiful!

I'm always grateful to still have the opportunity to dance. I love this crew and being a part of this company is something I always hold close to my heart. I can't wait to do it all again. Forever @underground.dco ❤️

What a year it's been.

I don't even know how to put it into words. I'm just really thankful I got to dance with such incredible people. Every single person brought something different, and somehow we all created a space where it felt safe to be ourselves. There's so much love in this community, and I'm so lucky I got to be a part of it.

This year pushed me harder than I ever expected. I've had my brain blasted and melted all over the place and there were days I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. But every challenge taught me something. I picked myself back up every time, and I came out of it a better dancer.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me, challenged me, laughed with me, and supported me. I genuinely couldn't have done it without you.

Dance has always been a part of who I am, but this year reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place.

🩷Funnel of Love🩷 From the "But I'm a Cheerleader" soundtrack. In the late 90s, I had quickly become Clea DuVall's biggest fan and, when this film came out, 13/14 year old me sat alone on a crooked, sticky seat at the Tower Theater seeing it for the first time. It was a special moment for me to pay homage 25 years later.

As with all of my UG pieces, I was super particular about the dancers I cast and they really showed up for me and did me proud. This is from our tech rehearsal and I'm so happy I got it on camera, there was something magical in this run through.
