Happy birthday America!

I love my country, my home, my people! I’m so thankful to God for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. While there’s no perfect place on planet Earth, our nation has allowed religious freedom. This freedom has given Christians the opportunity to worship Jesus for 250 years without fear or oppression. We’ve been free to work and worship- to expand Christ’s kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven.

God has allowed me to travel to many countries around our world. There are many beautiful places and peoples and cultures, but the United States is truly remarkable. It’s a place of diversity, opportunity, and bounty. It’s history and heritage lay great responsibility on each new generation since it’s always easier to burn a house than to build one. Its freedoms and resources must be protected and respected. We must steward what God has trusted to us.

So, we must pray for our country and for our leaders, regardless of your politics. We must work for justice and peace. We must do all we can to protect the innocent and help the helpless. We must love our neighbors and our enemies. We must be grateful for the gifts God has given us, including living in this great nation—for that is what a citizen of heaven does.

So I say unapologetically and gratefully:
God bless America. Happy birthday USA!

Faith is not the absence of fear, but the decision you make in the midst of fear.

To have a psalm like faith, I must bring every fear, trouble, weight, and struggle to God.

Continue to bring everything to the Lord,
and watch Him bring everything you’ve been needing to you.

Remembering and honoring all of our country’s heroes who have gone before us. Happy Memorial Day🇺🇸

We are thankful to worship in a nation that has fought for the freedoms we enjoy: freedom to gather together, worship Jesus, and share the gospel. #memorialday

The Wolk family at first just needed some early education day care. Little did they know, God would work through their daughter to soften their hearts to His love. Within 4 years, David went from being an atheist to becoming a baptized believer. The family now attends @churchatlakemead and has been growing in their faith and sharing Christ’s transformative love with others!
