This officially wraps Waterfront's first 2026 season. Again, thanks to all the artists and the people who got involved in this crazy ride. To the ones who gave their time freely and all others that believed in this project. To my family members who were there to encourage and help organize. To Moog audio for their professionalism and to had provide a discount on dj gear. To Explore Verdun magazine for their involvement and of course to the suburb of Verdun who took the time to listen of what we were proposing and for their general openmindness for that kind of venue here in Verdun. What a blast we had. We'll see you next year, better, faster, stronger. As you know, the project "backwater" is prolonging our season during the winter with the same philosophy : Promoting local talent, dj's & Collectives and the overall scene in the South West and in Montreal. This starts right now with our first event at @theblueroommtl on october 31 (7pm-3am). More details to come... Also, our 2027 bookings are open, please find and fill the form linked in our bio. Truly, @waterfront_events #moogaudio #electronicmusic #verdun #montreal #southwest

FASHIONABLYLATE is a Montreal based DJ whose sound sits between hypnotic techno, dub techno, and Detroit-inspired grooves. His sets are highly driven, built around rolling rhythms, deep bass, and layered textures that create a constant sense of forward movement. Strongly influenced by the space and depth of dub techno, as well as the groove and rawness of Detroit. FASHIONABLYLATE focuses on creating sets that feel like a continuous journey. Storytelling is at the core of his approach, using rhythm, tension, and texture to gradually take the dancefloor somewhere new without losing momentum. His sound is deep, hypnotic, and physical. A mix of movement and atmosphere where the groove keeps pushing forward while the details reveal themselves slowly. The kind of sound that can pull you into a track without you realizing how deep you've gone.
