Serie I de @labiennale en 35mm de @lapeliculera. Conocí a @harleigh_english en Polonia, en un curso de dirección de fotografía y me cayó genial, la pena es que era de Australia, y eso aún me pilla bastante lejos. De repente me llega la noticia de que un cortometraje que ha hecho con @jessicavdicosta ha sido seleccionado en Venecia! (en el mundo del cine, esto es increíble, son unos cracks). Esta era la excusa perfecta reencontrarse y visitar ese festival tan icónico. Unos días llenos de emoción, y el reencuentro genial con @efiumi y @stanislawsenderek. Gracias a la invitación de @sonyprofilmmaking conocimos a @clara.cantos @sebastian.klinger y a su lado muchas risas y aventuras. Mi peli favorita fue @conversationwiththesea 🇵🇸. Historias como esas y todas las masterclass a las que asistimos nos han llenado de ánimo para seguir trabajando duro y contar historias que valgan la pena. 35mm @dubblefilm @dubblelab @carmencitafilmlab

So happy and grateful to share that my latest short film, Mothmama, will have its world premiere in the Orizzonti Shorts Official Competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival @labiennale This film only exists because of the generosity, talent and care of everyone who made it with me. It is my greatest joy to make things with other people, and I feel so lucky to have made this one with such a special team. Thank you to the @labiennale selection committee for welcoming Mothmama to Venice, it is an incredible honour. We would like to acknowledge the Guringai and Dharawal peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which this film was made. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The stories we tell and the art we create are enriched by the enduring histories, cultures and knowledge of the First Peoples of this Country.
