June recap 🖇️

One of the only places on earth where you can walk alongside wild Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.

Despite the reputation Hollywood and the media have given them over the years, Komodo dragons are actually surprisingly calm animals most of the time. You’ll usually find them slowly wandering through the bush, relaxing in the shade, or stretched out having a nap in the sun.

That said… they are still the largest lizards on earth, and one of nature’s most fascinating predators. Adults can grow to over 3 metres long, while the babies spend the first few years of their lives up in the trees to avoid being eaten by the adults below.

The entire experience is guided and incredibly safe, with experienced local rangers leading every trek. You can get as close or stay as far away as you feel comfortable throughout the walk.

If seeing Komodo dragons is on your bucket list, you can add a dragon trek onto our Komodo day trips by choosing 2 dives + the trek instead of 3 dives. Just let us know and we’ll arrange everything for you.

🕵️‍♀️🎤 THANK YOU, LAVA LEGENDS 🎤🕵️‍♀️

Our very first Murder at the Karaoke is officially DONE — and WOW.
The singing. The suspects. The accusations. The absolute chaos.

Thank you to everyone who played along, grilled the suspects, sang their hearts out, and tried to crack the case 🖤
Be honest… did you guess the murderer correctly? 👀

Well done to @whereisshamik and @sandrer_w for guessing correctly!! Enjoy the bottle of Hendricks Gin!!!

This was Lava Bar’s first murder mystery — but it definitely won’t be the last.
👉 Keep your eyes peeled for the next one…

Karaoke legends by day, detectives by night 🔥🎶
