The UNG Blue Ridge Campus Next Fest was a wonderful series of events to celebrate the Blue Ridge Campus students, faculty and staff, as well as the community. We welcomed students from surrounding counties, had academic exploration with UNG students, had the pleasure to host a Conservation Luncheon in collaboration with the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce, and of course: the fabulous Blue Ridge Tomato Sandwich Supper, a great tradition and a night of recognizing UNG student achievement and scholarships!

A Yellow Jacket 🐝 in the heart of Bulldog country 🐾. Today I paid a surprise visit to Dr. Charles Davis, Dean of Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Georgia.

Years ago Charles and I attended the University of North Georgia together as undergrads and are Sigma Chi Fraternity Brothers. He was hosting the bi-annual Dawgs with the Dean event when I stopped by to visit. He’s doing great work at UGA. 🙌🏻🎓

Yes, I got some stares in Athens, GA. Go Jackets!

Who's coming to UNG?
As a proud member of the UNG Class of ’92, I’m honored to support the 11th Annual Boar’s Head Brigade & Corps Alumni Weekend alongside Kind Lending!
I’m especially excited to welcome LTG Jamie Jarrard, pictured above, as this year’s guest speaker. His distinguished military career and dedication to leadership and service truly represent the proud traditions of the University of North Georgia.
Join us September 18 through September 20 as we reconnect with fellow alumni, celebrate the Corps of Cadets, and honor the incredible UNG military community.
I hope to see you there!😊
