“Anything off the trolley, dears?”

On April 13th, the trolley rolled through the halls for a sweet little Knock & Talk, and let’s just say it was a hit. Residents were treated to a pick-me-up of Alani and Monster energy drinks, plenty of candy, and most importantly, meaningful connections with some amazing campus partners.

A huge highlight of the night was getting to share resources from Undergraduate Admissions, Counseling Services, and Career Services, making sure residents are not only fueled for finals, but supported every step of the way.

From smiles at the door to excitement over goody bags, the energy, both literally and figuratively, was unmatched. It was the perfect way to gear up for finals season at the end of the month, because success isn’t just about studying hard, it’s about having the right support system too!

New Year, New Purpose Nighthawks!

The new year is here, and with it comes a chance to reset, refocus, and identify your purpose. College is one of the most transformative periods of your life, so why not let this year be the one where you fully embrace growth?

Make this year about discovering your purpose and creating the future you’ve been dreaming of. And remember, your purpose evolves overtime and is shaped by your interests, experiences, and the people you meet. You don’t have to have it all figured out right now!

I love seeing signs of spring when walking around campus! The pretty pink flowers boosted my mood and gave me much needed motivation for my upcoming midterms💐💐🌷🌹

If experiencing stress or anxiety during this busy season, I recommend stopping by the offices of student counseling in the Stewart Center on the Dahlonega campus during their walk-in hours. We got this, nighthawks!!💙💛🪶

So pleased with the turn out last week at our event in Nesbitt! We were so happy to talk with so many of you & even talk with a few members of Student Government who helped us by providing further information on how we can properly go about making this page an active organization on campus!

Thanks again for the support along the journey, we’re looking forward to future of this organization!

I really mean it when I say my biggest fear in early recovery was that I would never have fun again. The beautiful truth is that recovery has given me freedom and the confidence to go out in the world and leave my own mark. -Todd Stoddart

Addiction is becoming increasingly more prevalent within the college experience, with students not properly acknowledging their addiction, they only find themselves deeper into the vicious cycle that is addiction.

NAPDA is aiming to provide resources and educational outlets to students at UNG to better understand the truth behind addiction and prescription drug abuse.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please reach out to UNG health services to seek guidance in what the next steps are in your recovery journey.
