Zigma is replacing traditional wood with Wood Poly Ethylene (WPE) which combines plastic recovered from dump yards – like shampoo bottles and packaging waste – with wood powder which is also often wasted, to create façades, decking, furniture and even ceilings.
These materials not only look aesthetic, feel premium, contributes to reducing Co2 emissions, but also be recycled again. Their ceilings – made by Prominance Uniceil – integrate lighting, sprinklers and cabling directly into the ceiling for a cleaner, more efficient design.
This material stays fire retardant, water-resistant, termite-proof and splinter-free, making it far more durable while requiring minimal maintenance. Zigma’s WPE products are also GreenPro Certified, meeting nationally recognised sustainability standards for green building materials.
Their products are also put through 27 tests of European standards making sure these are durable, functional and eco-friendly.
