$🤰🏻✨ What are my favorite treatments for postpartum moms? 💕👩🏻‍⚕️ Pregnancy and postpartum bring BIG changes to your skin and hair! 🍼 Hormonal shifts can contribute to skin laxity, melasma, hair shedding, and even new skin tags. The good news? There are ways to help you feel like yourself again! 🫶🏻 Here are my fav treatments I love to consider as a dermatologist: ✨ 1. ULTHERAPY | Skin tightening • 🤰🏻 What happens to your skin? Changes in collagen, elastin, and skin stretching can contribute to laxity and jowls. • 🔬 How it helps: Focused ultrasound stimulates collagen remodeling at targeted tissue depths. • 💗 Why I love it: Can gradually improve mild skin laxity and definition for natural-looking results—without surgery! ✨ 2. CLEAR + BRILLIANT | Glow & texture • ☀️ What happens to your skin? Pregnancy hormones can trigger or worsen melasma, pigmentation, and dull skin. • ✨ How it helps: This gentle fractional laser can improve texture, radiance, pigmentation. ✨ 3. PRP / PRF / EZ GEL | Hair & under-eyes • 🩸 PRP/PRF: May help selected hair-loss patients and with overall skin rejuvenation. • 💗 EZ Gel: albumin with PRF to create a gel-like material that helps dark under-eye hollows. • ✨ Good news: Postpartum hair shedding usually improves naturally over time! Also consider if you have new skin tags and DPNs: ✨ 4. ELECTROCAUTERY | Skin tags & DPNs • 🔬 What happens to your skin? Skin tags may develop or become more noticeable during pregnancy. DPNs (dermatosis papulosa nigra) are common benign growths, especially in darker skin tones. • 💗 How it helps: Electrocautery can precisely remove selected benign lesions. 💕 MY BIGGEST POSTPARTUM TIP: You don’t have to rush! Prioritize recovery, sun protection, nutrition, and a healthy skin barrier. If you’re breastfeeding or planning another pregnancy, discuss treatment timing and safety with your dermatologist! #PostpartumSkin #PostpartumHairLoss #Momglowup #Selfcare ✨$

$💈 A closer look at my patient’s hair restoration results! ✨ These before-and-after photos show an improvement in hair thickness after combining FOLIX laser + PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections to address male pattern hair loss. 👨🏻‍🦱 🔬 How does it work? ⚡ FOLIX laser: Uses fractional laser energy to create controlled micro-injuries in the scalp, stimulating the skin’s natural repair response and supporting a healthier environment for hair growth. 💉 PRP injections: Use your own platelet-rich plasma, which contains growth factors that may help stimulate hair follicles and support hair growth. 🤝 Why combine them? These complementary treatments target the scalp through different mechanisms, with the goal of improving hair density and thickness. 💡 Results vary depending on the degree of hair loss, follicular health, and individual response. Consistency and a personalized treatment plan are key! 📍 Interested in addressing hair thinning?
