🌸🎨 DAY THREE: More Flowers, More Color & More Create Magic! 💗 Happy Tuesday from Create! ☀️ What another glorious fall day in Broad Ripple, with sunshine, perfect temperatures, and a whole lot of creativity happening on our exterior studio walls! Our fearless mural project leader, @megsj1art , got an early start today, bringing some BIG, beautiful flowers to life before welcoming Lindsey of @riverviewpress , Melissa Lear of @spindleandspade , and Create co-owner @alissacobbmoody to join the fun! Together, they spent the day adding more leaves, flowers, outlines, and second coats of paint to the word CREATE. 🌸💜💙💚 And a special shout-out to Megan’s husband and fellow artist, Corey Jefferson, for stopping by to help move the scaffolding and spot Megan as she worked her magic high above the ground! We love seeing all the ways this creative community comes together! 🙌 Watching @margaretkimball_ ‘s drawings come to life, one colorful brushstroke at a time, has been pretty incredible. And we especially love how organically this entire project is coming together, with so many creative hands making it happen! A huge thank-you to the families who stopped by to see the progress today, including the young artists from @csweigart1 ‘s 4 PM class who got a front-row view of the magic! 💕 We’re back at it tomorrow, and we can’t wait to show you what comes next! 🌸 DON’T MISS SATURDAY! 🌸 CREATE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL! 🎨 Community Mural Celebration + Create’s 3rd Birthday! 📅 Saturday, October 24 | 2:30–5:30 PM 📍 Create Art Studio | 6511 Ferguson Street, Broad Ripple Join us for live music from @gypsy_moonshine , delicious food from @unionjackpub (FREE meals for the first 50 guests!), community mural painting, and plenty of birthday fun! All ages welcome! We’re so grateful to @indy.lisc for helping make this colorful dream a reality. 💗 Keep following along, stop by to see the progress, and come celebrate with us Saturday! #CreateSomethingBeautiful #CreateArtStudioIndy #BroadRipple #IndyMurals #PublicArtIndy

🎨🌸 SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL IS BLOOMING IN BROAD RIPPLE! 💛 Three years ago this October, we opened the doors to Create Art Studio with a dream of building a creative space where art, connection, and community could flourish. And from the very beginning, we dreamed of bringing a colorful mural to the outside of our studio. THAT DREAM IS COMING TRUE! 🎉 Thanks to a generous grant from @indy.lisc , we’re bringing a beautiful new mural to Create! Designed by local artist @margaretkimball_ and brought to life by muralist @megsj1art , alongside THREE Create artist apprentices, this project is about so much more than painting a building. It’s about supporting local artists, bringing people together, and adding another splash of color to the Village we love! And we’re throwing a party to celebrate! 🌸 CREATE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL! 🎨 Community Mural Celebration + Create’s 3rd Birthday! 📅 Saturday, October 24 | 2:30–5:30 PM 📍 Create Art Studio | 6511 Ferguson Street ❤️ FREE + ALL AGES WELCOME! Here’s what’s in store: 🎨 Watch Megan and our Create artists bring the mural to life! 🖌️ Add your own creative touch to a smaller community paint-by-number mural inspired by the design! 🎶 Live music (details coming soon!) 🍔 @unionjackpub food truck (first 50 people get a free entree, side & drink) 🍷 Wine and beer available for purchase! 🪑 Bring a lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and stay awhile! A HUGE thank-you to LISC Indianapolis for investing in neighborhood businesses and helping make this longtime dream possible. And thank you to @midtownindyinc , @broadrippleindy , and @lovebroadripple for your support of our creative community! Three years of Create. One big dream coming to life. And a whole community invited to celebrate! 🌸💛 Mark your calendars and come help us CREATE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL! 🎨✨ 🌸 A little sneak peek of our vision! This rendering is for inspiration only. The real magic will happen when our local artists bring the mural to life! ✨ #CreateArtStudioIndy #CreateSomethingBeautiful #BroadRipple #BroadRippleVillage
