My goal was to donate 25 books… but WE donated 30!!!🥹📚💖

Last month, I set out with a simple goal: to spread a little joy to children at a local shelter through the gift of books.

I shared a post, and some incredibly kind and talented women answered the call. The beautiful part? I’ve never met these women. We didn’t know each other. They simply saw the post, understood how much joy a book can bring to a child, and decided to help. 🥹💗

Because of their generosity, we didn’t just reach our goal of 25 books…we exceeded it and donated 30!👏🏿

And did I mention that ALL of these amazing donors are children’s book authors?! 📚✨ So much talent and heart in one group…and one of our donors is even a 7-year-old author! How incredible is that?! 🥹

To each of these amazing women: THANK YOU for helping Ms. Zita bring a little extra joy to some very deserving little learners. I am so incredibly appreciative of your kindness and generosity. 💖

And thank you to everyone who liked, shared, reposted, or told someone about the book drive. Every share helped spread the word and ultimately helped this post reach the generous hearts who made this possible. 💕

25 was the goal. 30 was the blessing 📚

Xo,
Ms. Zita 💖

Just read this kids book with my youngest. She is 8, and while she can read chapter books, she still enjoys picture books, too.

We both thought this was a cute book and enjoyed the adventures of Jack and Stripes. (Also it would be nice for Stripes to tour around England with Jack!)

A fun adventure, vibrant pictures, and friendship. I recommend this kids book!

*Thank you to @unionjacksadventures for a complimentary copy. I know you said no review was necessary, but I appreciated you sending it so wanted to leave a review. All opinions expressed are my own.*

🌍✨ Jack’s Grand Adventure by Gavin Hunter is such a delightful read for young explorers!

This charming story follows Jack, a cheerful British flag, as he embarks on his very first journey across the ocean to visit his friend Stripes, the American flag.

Together, they explore famous landmarks, learn fascinating facts, and celebrate the beauty of friendship along the way. 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸

What I loved most about this book is how it makes learning feel like an adventure.

Instead of simply presenting facts, the author weaves them into a fun and engaging story that keeps young readers curious about the world around them. 🌎📚

The illustrations and cheerful tone make it an enjoyable experience, while the educational elements introduce children to different places, cultures, and histories in a way that’s easy to understand.

The friendship between Jack and Stripes adds warmth to the story and reminds readers that exploring new places is even better when shared with friends. 💙

If you’re looking for a book that combines adventure, learning, and imagination, Jack’s Grand Adventure is a wonderful choice for children and families alike.

It’s an exciting first step in what promises to be many grand adventures ahead! ✈️✨
