🐆 The Art of Style RECAP 🐆

@unionstationdc and @wildsidemediaco joined forces last month to produce The Art of Style, a two-night celebration of bold visionaries redefining the District.

Our official @dcartallnight 2026 programming featured 100+ local artists and curators — including @theedollarsign and @lockosworld live painting mannequins — who are creating with a purpose, building community and setting the tone for D.C.'s unique identity.

From @kellytowles painting a 10-foot-tall T-shirt handsewn by @chris_cardi and hanging from 10+ feet of scaffolding to @trapxbob debuting her first-ever 3D live-painting activation, The Art of Style put a spotlight on some of the trailblazing talent integral to the city's creative fabric.

Stay tuned for more content from The Art of Style on September 11-12, including editorial photography from @bendroz.

🚂🍸 Did you know there’s a speakeasy inside DC’s Union Station?

@continentalclubdc is officially my new favorite way to kill time before a train.

The Beaux-Arts-inspired pop-up celebrates 250 years of train travel, with one of the coolest views of @unionstationdc I’ve seen. Head upstairs for a unique look over the station, plus the chance to get up close to some of the gorgeous architecture you normally only admire from below.

Behind the bar is Rochelle Julich, D.C.-based founder of woman-owned mobile bartending company @tryshkr, with a menu that mixes classic and creative cocktails.

🍸 My take: the classic cocktails were the clear winners. There are a few light bites, but drinks are definitely the star here.

Continental Club is currently scheduled to be open through the end of the year, with the possibility of extending, making it a pretty great excuse to arrive at Union Station early.

Would you build in extra time before your train for this? 🚆
