What stood out to us about Justin’s entry was the variety of sounds he brought together. Rather than sticking to one style of DnB, his mix explores the heavier side of neurofunk and jump-up, while bringing in euphoric elements and touches of 4x4 to switch up the energy. We particularly liked the contrast between the heavier sounds and more melodic moments. It's this willingness to experiment with different subgenres and put his own spin on the drops that made his entry stand out! 🔥 🎧 Check out the clip to hear a snippet of Justin’s mix for yourself! 📅 Saturday 31st October 2026 ⏰ 4PM–10PM 📍 Unit 13, Nottingham DETONATE HALLOWEEN WINNER SPOTLIGHT: RIZLA Next up in our winner spotlights is RIZLA, who’ll be joining the lineup at Detonate Halloween, supporting Kings of the Rollers, Break and more! Rizla’s entry was all about jungle, rollers and the dirtier side of DnB, bringing together the sounds he loves while putting his own spin on them. We loved the direction he took with his mix, leaning into the rolli
