I like using stance switches to create angles and disguise what’s coming next 🥸 Option 1: Cross to the inside leg kick, land southpaw, throw the left cross and step across into orthodox to create an angle. Option 2: Show the same entry, but instead of following through with the angle while you throw the cross bring the rear head kick over the top. The goal is to make them anticipate the same movement before changing the target 🎯 Save this video and drill it 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more striking setups ⚡️ Want to improve your striking? Here’s one way I like to set up the lead high kick 🦵 Touch the inside leg enough times to start building a reaction 💥 I keep the same target, then deliberately look down at the leg to sell it one more time. But instead of going low I flick the kick up high 🦵 Save this video and drill it 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more striking setups ‼️ Want to improve your striking? Your kick isn’t finished when it lands 🙅‍♂️ The recovery is just as important as the kick itself. Pull your leg back down with intent, land in a strong stance and be ready to go again. Save this and drill it next time you train 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more technical breakdowns 📈 Want to improve your striking? DM me “Coaching” to learn more about my online striking coaching 👊

Catch the lead hook → Return with power 🎯 Instead of catching and firing straight back with the same side counter, ride the shot, shift your weight onto your lead leg and load your left shoulder as you catch. This allows you to fire back with a powerful lead hook before chopping the leg with a low kick. An opposite side counter that lets you turn defence into offence. Save this and drill it next time you train 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more technical breakdowns 📈 Want to improve your striking? DM me “Coaching” to learn more about my online striking coaching 👊

Catch & fire 🎯 Don’t just catch the shot and reset. Use that small window to fire straight back. Catch → 2 → 3 → low kick 💥 Defence straight into offence ⚡️ Save this video and drill it 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more technical breakdowns ‼️

Breaking down this beautiful finish from @aaronpicousa 🧠💥 The way he lands off the low kick is what makes this so slick. Low kick → load → body shot 🎯 Save this video and drill it 📌 Follow @rory247okeeffe for more technical breakdowns ‼️
