Want to immediately feel better? Help someone else in need. When you’re in a dark place, serving someone in need can bring immediate light into your life. Hold the door for someone, pay for a coffee, donate clothes, volunteer, or simply check on a friend. Shit, even a smile helps. Helping others activates purpose and purpose pulls you out of the fog. Quick note: As a recovering people pleaser, please don’t feel obligated to do this if you don’t have energy for it. Do not ever feel obligated (you are still a good person and guilt does not live here). Perhaps when you have a heart glimmer and feel it..def pay it forward.
If you or someone you love is in crisis or having thoughts of self harm, please reach out for help immediately by calling 9-8-8. For more tips, sign up to my weekly email blast called the Chingona Club (link in bio). Thank you to my Chingona Club Sponsors who support feeling, looking and doing good in this crazy world. @universalrehab @evolvesocialwellness @serenitybeautyspa.satx @moni_zy @_nubloom @float_sa @explosivefitness_sa Love yall! #depression #holidayblues #seasonaldepression #mentalhealthawareness #mentalheath #love #support
