New event alert!

Archival Screening & Historical Materials Sharing & Collective Fabric Collage Workshop
& Community Gathering!

November 14th Saturday
12-2:30pm
Speyer Hall

Join in-version ensemble for a sneak peek into Vanishing 5.0, a performance-in-development exploring the lives and labor of women garment workers in Manhattan’s Chinatown.

Through archival footage, oral histories, and historical materials, we will uncover the women’s contributions to Chinatown’s cultural and economic history. Bringing these histories into the present, participants are invited to create a collective fabric collage. In the making, we together transform a material once associated with labor and survival into a medium for memory, storytelling, and intergenerational connection.

Come learn, make, share stories, meet in-version’s old and new friends, and help shape a performance still in the making. Free Chinese snacks, drinks, and access to our full season!

📸 More Revel Run magic! 💛🏃‍♀️
We recently received some amazing photos and videos from our wonderful volunteer Letty, who had the perfect spot by the river to cheer our runners on! 📣🙌
Letty was doing double (and probably triple!) duty on Revel Run day. Not only was she out there bringing the energy and encouraging our runners, but she also helped make the day special by printing our T-shirts and all our Revel Run swag! 👕✨
The photos and videos she shared capture everything we love about this day: the smiles, the spirit, the encouragement, and a whole lot of community love. ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to Letty for all the ways she helped make this year’s Revel Run so special. We’re lucky to have people like her in our corner! 💛 The finish line may be behind us, but we’re still reliving all the good vibes! ✨

What a special day! ⚡️⚡️
Eight 5Ks later, and the Revel Run is still bringing people together for Pavel. ❤️🏃‍♀️🐕
Last Sunday, friends, families, runners, walkers, kids, dogs, and an incredible community came together for the 8th Annual LES Revel Run and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Even the rain held off until we were all done! 🌧️🙌
What started as a way to honor Pavel has become something bigger than we ever imagined: a tradition built on love, friendship, generosity, and giving back.
And thanks to YOU, we’ve raised over $22,000 this year and more than $110,000 since our first run to support the Pavel Lempert Fellowship at University Settlement and help the next generation of future leaders. And donations are still coming in! 🎉

To everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, donated, cheered, shared a post, or supported us from near and far: THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts. You are part of this story. Thank you for showing up, for believing in this event, for supporting the students, and for helping us keep Pavel’s memory alive in such a meaningful way. ❤️
We never take this community, your generosity, or your love for granted. You remind us every year that even though Pavel is no longer physically here, the love he gave and the connections he made continue to live on through all of us.⚡️⚡️

We may come together for a 5K, but we leave with so much more.
✨ Eight Revel Runs. One community. A legacy that keeps moving forward.
Check out our Facebook page for lots of photos from the amazing Aaron Jettleson.
