The Three-Legged Donkey, or Khara, is a mysterious and sacred creature from ancient Iranian mythology, standing deep within the cosmic sea of Vourukasha. Its origin remains unclear-some researchers believe it may be a remnant of pre-Zoroastrian or even foreign mythologies, later merged into Iranian cosmology. This ambiguity adds to the creature's mythical, transcendent nature. According to ancient texts, this divine being plays a crucial role in preserving the balance of the world. When it moves or lets out a cry, it purifies the waters of the universe, cleansing them from the corruption and poison left behind by Ahriman, the evil spirit. Without its presence, the waters of the world would be destroyed by darkness and death. The Three-Legged Donkey symbolizes purification, spiritual protection, and the eternal battle between light and darkness. It is not merely a creature, but a cosmic force safeguarding the essence of life.

I am a woman with hair the color of moonlight and eyes that reflect the hidden secrets of the night.

In the mirror of autumn’s withered leaves, I see myself — a season caught between birth and forgetting.

My lips carry the fire of flames that have never been extinguished.

The black cat beside me is not merely a companion; he is the shadow of my soul, his violet eyes a gateway to unseen worlds. Each time our gazes meet, I remember that magic has always lived within me — not born of spells, but of faith in myself and the silence I carry.

I am an unfinished tale, a chapter woven between truth and myth; and every fallen leaf upon my shoulder is a whisper of destinies I have yet to write.

🎶 Whispers of the Soul 🎶

"Whispers of the Soul" is a visual symphony of emotion and memory.
Each flowing line and golden note represents the songs that soothe my soul every day—melodies that carry me back to moments immortalized in the pages of my poetry.
Eyes closed, the spirit listens.
In this piece, music is more than sound; it’s the thread that ties my present to the echo of my past.
I live through these songs, I write with them, and through them, I’m reborn.

This artwork is a collaboration between Behnaz and Soren.
The image was created using AI and Photoshop by Soren, while the Persian calligraphy was delicately drawn by Behnaz using a mobile phone and the SketchBook app.
Together, they merged sound, memory, and visual poetry into a single timeless expression.
