Still can’t believe I’m typing this.. this man (Actons finest) right here is literally the reason for the UK rap scene, but closer to home he’s the reason for ‘Aaron Unknown’ please believe me when I say I couldn’t have embarked on this journey had it not been for Jamal Edwards. This man taught me my greatest power, the ability to BELIEVE IN MYSELF. When I say he literally released my first warm up session against my will after sitting on it for months of me refusing 😅 I was in Paris for fashion week and I phoned him bugging out like ‘nah we need to reshoot it come on I didn’t even know my name’ and he just laughed like ‘bro THE BARRRRSSS’ he got me my first few performances including my first ever festival, the first money I ever made from music he patterned for me. And to be honest he sat me down over the years and helped me to mould my own brand and record label. Don’t get me wrong he could’ve got me signed in minutes but that wasn’t the vision, and he understood that and allowed me creative freedom. He is literally the foundation of my entire music journey, even going back to before we met as I grew up on F64’s etc. Over the years we became close friends, aiding each other with more personal issues, can safely say he was a big brother to me. Jamal bro I still can’t believe this, I guess I just have to Thankyou one more time, and now I’m crying typing this I got this far without crying lol but I guess it’s hitting home now. One of the most selfless men I’ve ever met, Thankyou for everything you’ve done for our music, music is life so it means so much to someone like me. Man made time for everyone, literally everyone regardless of stature, background anything. A true realist. Rest in perfect power King 🕊 ❤️ True inspirations never die fam, your just watching over us now 🥲
