¡Ningún hermano se deja solo! Surprise, surprise… we’ll be pulling up for @yesterdaystranger’s pop-up at @local.dosdosdos. I’ll be painting live while we present an interactive body of work. There’s a story to be told… and like we always say: we were yesterday’s strangers, but today’s friends. Come drink some beer, tag a canvas, and cop a hat. STORYTELLERS.

“EN LA LUCHA” NY YANKEES FITTED FOR @wenarethosedropping at @ampmgallery ✍️ When my brother @jeffroseking blessed me with the honor to participate in this experience all i could think about was, “What energy & story did we want to present at the Gallery?” @wenarethosedropping represents to me one of the true events that gathers artists from all over to share their unique perspectives on a classic item like a fitted hat, to create something more than just a hat, but to represent a “CROWN”. VIGILANTES, is what we are called cause we take care of our community, our people, our ideas & our journey. For this hat we joined forces with @ozvart / @casadisantos to create something that felt part of Anti Hero Gear like if you would see it in a comic book or novel. Working with materials that he’s known for like: - Snake skin representing the evolution of a character, hiding in plain sight & shedding of the skin to evolve into the next form. - Inverse Realtree Camo to represent the duality of a person. - Buttons that attach & detach to create the effect of a mask to secure your identity & also it can come completely off to just wear the hat itself. Joining artistic visions as well with @geraldoantonio / @unknownkult to represent the painting of a “Vigilante In Lucha”. Our roots of inspiration come from wrestling & this is one way to represent it. Finishing it off with details of vintage pins that represent the island & giving the feeling of like a stamp & Anti Hero logos embroidered by @wgy.llc . The goal was to create a hat that involved the VIGILANTES that have helped the brand get to where it is & keep moving forward to where we want it to be. Much love & respect to everyone involved in this project, to every artist that created a crown & to every vigilante that keeps inspiring & uniting us. This is for all of us, Thank You New York. #MantenteVigilante Photos by: @levidopeness / @mai_cc2 #fyp #nyc #newera #fitted
